Introduction

Welcome to Back to Earth’s Internal Solid Wall Insulation course. Internal insulation is the alternative solution and with this course, you’ll learn how to use internal wall insulation for your own renovation project.

Over the next 4 modules we’ll guide you through a range of topics, starting with an overview of the subject and moving on to cover the key aspects of internal wall insulation. We hope you find the course useful, and if you’d like to discuss anything in more detail, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Your instructor

“Chris had been a builder and has built his own beautiful Passivhaus, so, unlike most importers of building materials, he completely understands what goes into every aspect of building a house, he really knows his materials and how they fit into an entire house build.”

This course has been expertly curated by Chris Brookman, founder of Back to Earth. Chris has over 21 years of experience working in sustainable construction.

During that time he’s worked on numerous building projects, ranging from major residential developments to one off, self-build projects. You can find out more about his work here. Chris has developed this course to allow others to gain a deeper understanding of wood fibre insulation and how to use the material effectively.

If you are an architect, builder or even self-builder and are considering using wood fibre insulation, this course is designed for you.
